This series is a collaborative editorial partnership between the Friends of the Greenbelt Foundation and Alternatives Journal.
Through these articles and videos we aim to provide a platform for the voices of members of the Indigenous communities who currently live or have historic roots within the Greenbelt area. From the inspiring story of the All Nations Grand River Water Walk, to the success of Nish Dish, the first Indigenous restaurant to open in Toronto, these articles highlight the projects and innovations of Indigenous leaders throughout the Greenbelt.
